Ettain Group's client is a leading provider of Internet services to the small business marketplace. Among the services we offer are: web sites, web site hosting, online marketing, domain name registration services and more. We make it simple and affordable for small business customers to build and manage a web presence through a single, experienced provider.

Although we are a large and financially stable company, this role is unique in that it works with a fast-paced team that thinks outside the box and does not believe in red tape.

This is a 3 month contract to hire position located in Herndon, VA.

WHAT WE WANT:

We are looking for a business savvy candidate that has a strong grasp of the UI/UX perquisites. Most importantly, the ideal person must be able to identify opportunities, take control of initiatives, anticipate & solve issues for all stakeholders, and communicate & sell the ideas.

SKILLS WE NEED:

* Excellent problem solving skills. You will be expected to identify and solve problems based on business needs, web analytics, and user feedback
* Ability to communicate. You will need to be able to clearly articulate problems and solutions in a fast-paces environment.
* Document great solutions. The tangible outputs of your role are interaction designs, wireframes, process flows, and screen layouts.
* Give compelling presentations. You will not only need to deliver solutions, but communicate and sell them internally to cross-functional stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU HAVE:

* Strong UI design, information design and problem-solving skills
* Excellent user interface & interaction design skills with experience working on highly transactional Web sites
* At least 4-6+ years of experience in a related field such as a usability engineer, information architect, user interface designer, online marketing, etc.
* Proficiency with standard design and documentation tools (Adobe, Visio, etc.)
* Understanding of browsing & purchase behavior and methods for presentation to users (e-commerce experience a plus)
* Extreme attention to detail & solid project management skills
